Smart money on Dallas -7

Its here again. The game of the century of the week.

Packers at Cowboys for control of home field advantage in the NFC.

On paper, these two teams appear pretty even. They both have top 5 QB's, solid defenses and dynamic passing attacks. The Boys have a big edge in the running game and an absolute beast in Terrel Owens but that's balanced by the fact that the Packers have a much better and very physical secondary.

Both teams are 10-1. Both teams seem to be gaining momentum with big wins recently.

On paper, this game should be a push on a neutral field. This puts Dallas as a 3 to 3.5 point favorite at home. But they are at -7.

This smells of the classic trap game. It looks like an artificially high spread designed to get a lot of action on the Green Bay side. Vegas knows something. They like Dallas. They are expecting a lopsided distribution which means a big win for the bookies if Dallas covers.

The line is already starting to dip as more bets are being placed on the Packer side.

My take:

Wait as late as possible to give the line the maximum chance to move down and then take Dallas - the points.

Good luck!
